Blood may be thicker than water, but that just means it can drown you faster. Estranged sisters Quinn and Aurora have known that for years. When the two are forced to reunite at their mother's funeral, the question of whether or not their relationship is worth the lifeboat takes center stage.

We did one of these pieces in their last intensive in the spring and this is an expanded version of that, with the same play along with three others. Exploring the world of these fable-like pieces and how they live in the world has been really fun and I'm looking forward to sharing them with people and seeing what we have!

This one is in the Rogue Theatre Festival on August 6th at the Flea. This is the second version of it we've done and it's gotten even tighter since the last one. The first was called Queer Quips and is an assemblage of quotes from Truman Capote, James Baldwin, Tennessee Williams, and Patricia Highsmith, among others, as they encounter each other in a drag club! The second show of the month was a play called Burning Leaves by Tom Rowan. It follows Matt, a gay actor who moves from New York for a fresh start as a drama teacher in a Midwest high school, and discovers that starting fresh may be harder than anticipated. It's got some beautiful performances and I'm really thrilled with it. Take a listen here!

​​Weegee, the (in)famous black-and-white tabloid photographer, aka Arthur Fellig, graphically captured grisly deaths and gaudy news events in the ‘40’s and ‘50’s. His obsession to capture the next photo where calamity collides with curiosity, derails his personal life. Constantly chasing his dream, he fails to see Wilma Wilcox, the woman who loves him for fifty years. Eventually, Weegee becomes the next story of the failed American Dream.

In 1824, after Lord Byron’s death, five of his closest friends gather to decide the fate of Lord Byron’s memoirs. They decide whether to publish the manuscript or not. Is it suitable for public consumption? If they publish the memoirs, lives might be ruined. What are the damning secrets his friends need to protect?

I was so thrilled to get to take on directing responsibilities for this year's A Nantucket Christmas Carol at White Heron. Getting to experiment and find different solves for many of the play's moments, magical and otherwise, was so wildly fulfilling. I had an incredible company of actors, a practically sold out run, and a wonderful review to top it all off!
